Y como mejores actores están nominados Denzel Washington por The Tragedy of Macbeth, Will Smith por King Richard, Javier Bardem por Being the Ricardos, Benedict Cumberbatch por The Power of the Dog y Andrew Garfield por Tick, Tick… Boom! Dentro de las películas animadas, Encanto tiene 2 nominaciones, por pelicula animada y otra por mejor cancion.
Guillermo del Toro está nominado a mejor director con Nightmare Alley junto con Steven Spielberg por West Side Story.
