It's March 2 for the Washington Nationals, let's get into it. Washington Nationals Outfielder Dylan Cruz sat out Sunday Spring Training Game with soreness in his left thumb. On Monday, the team got welcome news after X-rays came back negative. Doctors found just some bruising, nothing serious. Cruz could return to the lineup as early as Wednesday or Thursday. The young player wants to play it safe during Spring Training. He knows pushing too hard now could mean weeks on the sidelines later. So far this spring, Cruz is one for nine over four games. He has one RBI and two runs scored. Manager Blake Buterra called him day-to-day. He noted that during the regular season, Cruz would have played through it. With a day off Tuesday, they're giving him extra rest. D&N is brought to you by our sponsor link in the description. Comfort you can hear. Sound you can relax into.
