Craving, Suffering & Gratitude (Episode #100 - Buddhism)

What are the essential teachings Buddhism and how much do the Mere Mortal ascribe to them? In this episode Juan and Kyrin discuss the topic of 'Buddhism'. Neither had particularly dived into religion before so the first third of the conversation was a summary of the background knowledge and general teachings of The Buddha.

The crew then brings it to a personal level and talk about: the benefits and things that strike us as wise, some comparisons to other religions and where it differs (or is similar), some thought experiments of how their lives would be different if they were born into the religion or what experience it would take to become a convert, before finally ending the discussion on the debate of monism vs dualism.
