Mayor Spiro Cherry Agotas notes that while the city won't trap every coyote spotted, resident reports held build key data for monitoring. The focus stays on aggressive ones that get too close to people or pets. These play a big role by calling the 311 line to report sightings. Animal Services praises the team's work in balancing care for pets with managing wild overlaps and neighborhoods. To keep coyotes away, officials urge securing trash, bringing pet food and animals indoors at night, and clearing other food attractants from yards.
