On March 5th, the Dallas Cowboys are waving defensive tackle Perry and Winfrey, a 25-year-old former fourth-round draft pick. Winfrey entered the league with the Cleveland Browns back in the 2022 draft out of Oklahoma, signing a four-year rookie deal worth, about $4.5 million. The Browns let him go early due to off-field problems that led to a two-game suspension. After that, he joined the New York Jets practice squad in late 2023, but a foot injury sideline for the rest of the season. On injured reserve, he bounced back by playing in the Uofl with the Birmingham-Stallins last year, which opened the door to a contract with the Cowboys heading into 2025.
