Cowboys Trade Defensive Linemen, Gain Draft Picks

They sent defensive tackle Osa Odiazua to the San Francisco 49ers in exchange for a third round pick in the 2026 NFL draft. Meanwhile, Solomon Thomas heads to the Tennessee Titans for a seven-ground selection in April, specifically the global number 2-18 pick going. To Dallas, while Tennessee gets number 2-25 along with Thomas, these moves come just months after the Cowboys loaded up at defensive tackle by bringing in pro-Buller Kenny Clarke and all pro-Quin and Williams. Through earlier deals, they've also signed Otito Audbania to add depth alongside second-year player Jay Toya and released Perian Winfrey to clear the way for this revamped. Odiazua, a third round pick by Dallas out of UCLA in 2021, built a strong track record with career highs last season of 4 and A. Half-sacks, 47 tackles, and 23 quarterback hits, even while adjusting to new schemes under coaches Mike Zimmer and Matt Eberfluse.
