Cowboys Tender Bass, May Lose Hoffman

Coach Brian Shottenheimer mentioned last week that they want Restricted Free Agent Brock Hoffman and TJ Bass to stick around. Both have been solid contributors on the line. They already placed the second round tender on Bass, who has started 10 games in his career. That keeps him as a Restricted Free Agent, giving the team some control in negotiations. Meanwhile, things are different for Hoffman. According to reports from Jordan Schultz, the Cowboys do not plan to tender him at all. That means the 26 year old Hoffman will hit the market as an unrestricted free agent. He has started 14 games over the past two seasons at center, left guard and right guard.
