Cowboys Pursue Maxx Crosby, Other Free Agents

0:00On March 13th, the Dallas Cowboys finished the 2025 NFL season with the 7-9-1 record missing the playoffs for the second. Straight-year, owner Jerry Jones is now aggressively pursuing free agents and trades to rebuild the team and return to contention. Dallas started the offseason by franchise tagging wide receiver George Pickens to keep him off the market. They also sent a seventh round pick to the Green Bay Packers in exchange for defensive end, Rashon Garry, bolstering their pass rush. Max Crosby has been a standout for the Las Vegas Raiders since they drafted him in the fourth round back in 2019. The defensive end racked up 439 tackles in 69.56, earning five pro-Bulled nods and two all pro-honors. The Raiders tried trading Crosby to the Baltimore Ravens for first round picks in 2026 and 2027, but the deal fell apart after he failed a physical exam. Earlier, the Cowboys had shown strong interest, offering their own first and second round picks.
