Cowboys Part Ways with C.J. Goodwin, Special Teams Shake-Up

Earlier this week, the NFL's personnel notice listed him among unrestricted free agents not asked to return. Past resigning's happened by March, so at his age, it looks like his Cowboys run is done, even if they could still bring him back. Fans and analysts see this as part of a special team's shake-up. Goodwin top last year's snap counts at 80 percent, but the next four leaders, linebacker, Maris Lufo, safety Marques Bell, and tight ends. Breven Span Ford and Luke's Goonmaker face their own roster battles. The team kept special teams coordinator, Nick Sorenson, but admitted they need upgrades after 2025.
