Cowboys Miss Maxx Crosby, Turn to Draft/FA/Trades

0:00On March 7th, the Dallas Cowboys missed out on a big defensive upgrade this off-season. They were hot after star edge rusher Max Crosby from the Las Vegas Raiders, but the Raiders instead shipped him to the Baltimore Ravens 4, first round picks in 2026 and 2027. Last year, Dallas posted a 7-win, 9-loss, one tie record, despite a strong offense that ranks second overall. Quarterback Dak Prescott threw for 4,552 yards in 30 touchdowns, but the defense finished 30th and let the team down. Cowboys fans and owner Jerry Jones hoped Crosby would fill the void left by Micah Parsons earlier exit. The 28-year-old defender brings a proven track record as a five-time pro-buller with impressive sack totals over six NFL seasons. The deal still needs Crosby to pass a physical and waits for the newly gear on Wednesday to become official. Dallas had offered a first rounder in a second, but Baltimore landed the prize instead.
