Cowboys Draft Malachi Lawrence, New Parsons' Heir

0:00On April 24th, the Dallas Cowboys just snagged central Florida edge-rusher Malachai Lawrence at 23rd overall in the first round, using a pick. They got straight from the Green Bay Packers in last year's trade for Micah Parsons. That deal also sent a 2027 first-rounder to Dallas, leaving Packers GM Brian Gudakunst on the sidelines for the drafts opening picks. Gudakunst has zero regrets though, saying earlier this week he's totally good with the superstar they landed instead. Lawrence brings serious tools at 6'4", and 3-8 inches, 253 pounds, with a blazing 4.5'2'40 yard. Dash and a 1.59' 10 yard split from a combine.
