COURT REPORT: 9.3.26

About this episode

This week on Court Report, we’ve got two major verdicts — including a long-awaited decision in one of the most infamous murders in music history.

Nearly 30 years after Tupac Shakur was killed, a Las Vegas jury has finally decided the fate of Duane “Keffe D” Davis.

Then, we’re going back ten years to the disappearance of 19-year-old Morgan Bauer. For more than seven years, her family searched for answers — until an unexpected break finally led investigators to her remains and two people accused of her murder.

Plus, Barry Morphew is back in the headlines while awaiting trial for the murder of his wife, Suzanne — and this time it has nothing to do with the murder case itself. An alleged hit-and-run caught on camera got the attention of the judge overseeing his case and resulted in some much stricter bond conditions.

And in Juror Notes:

• Bryan Kohberger adds another attorney to his new legal team — and that attorney is hinting there may be much more coming in the fight to undo Kohberger’s guilty plea.

• Tyler Robinson takes another step toward trial in the murder of Charlie Kirk.

• There’s a surprising change at the defense table in the D4vd case — and Celeste Rivas Hernandez’s family has some questions about it.

• Another setback for Mackenzie Shirilla as she continues challenging her convictions following renewed attention from Netflix’s The Crash.

• And we’ll look ahead to an important sentencing decision coming next week in the Blaise Taylor case.

Finally, after more than five weeks of testimony and an extraordinarily long verdict watch, the Lindsay Clancy trial is nearing its end. The final episode of our 13th Juror Lindsay Clancy series will be out as soon as we officially know how this trial ends.

And then, by popular demand, we’re heading to Florida.

The next case on 13th Juror: the trial of Mario Fernandez Saldana for the murder of Jared Bridegan.
