About this episode
While we wait to move into the new Fuzzy Mic Studio, we're sharing never before heard conversations from my days at The New 93Q in Houston. TX.
Back in 2017, on extremely short notice, Cody Johnson was asked to play The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo filling in for Old Dominion who had to cancel their appearance. After that show, Cody has been a mainstay at the world's largest rodeo and he will open the 2022 season.
This conversation was recorded during an Up Close and Personal private performance for listeners of The New 93Q. It was right after Cody signed to Warner Music Nashville and after he'd made his 2nd appearance at The Houston Livestock Show.
Cody talks about his bull riding days, why he almost was arrested after his marriage proposal and he reveals his favorite venue to play, and it's kind of surprising.
