About this episode
While working at the LEGENDARY KKBQ, The New 93Q in Houston for 16 years, I had many incredible opportunities to host live, private shows for our listeners. We called these shows "Up Close and Personal" performances.
The artist would play a song then we’d chat, then they'd play another song, then more chat. This never released Fuzzy Mic episode dates back to 2017 during an outdoor performance by then country newcomer, Brett Young.
Due to licensing purposes, the performed songs have been removed from the episode.
Since this conversation, Brett has gone on to have 6 #1 singles, just had his 2nd daughter with his wife, Taylor and is currently on the road through fall of 2021 on "The Weekends Tour" in support of his latest album, "Weekends Look A Little Different These Days".
