Countdown to Ötillö: 0 Months and Ötillo Preview w/ Dominik Leu
About this episode
Welcome to episode 348 of the Löw Tide Böyz - A Swimrun Podcast!
The final countdown. Zero months and only days away from the 20th edition of the ÖTILLÖ Swimrun World Championship. This is the last stop in our countdown series before we head to Sweden. We check in with hows the body, hows the mind and the hay already in the barn, and we share how we have been leaning on old race reports and course breakdowns to settle the nerves.
Then we welcome back our friend Dominik Leu, ÖTILLÖ race director, for our annual race prediction show. Dominik gives us the full picture of the 20th anniversary weekend, starting with Saturday's Social Swimrun and fika in Stockholm, an open, no pressure loop built around the wildcard program that brought back so many past racers for this milestone year. He also breaks down what it took to bring a full live production to TV4 for the first time, with drone and runner coverage on the lead teams across all three categories and a free stream available worldwide.
From there we get into the good stuff, a full category by category breakdown of who is lining up for the women's, mixed, and men's races. Dominik walks through the new pairings, the returning champions, and the storylines worth watching once the gun goes off on Monday.
This episode is brought to you by Precision Fuel and Hydration, who we will be spending time with on site in Sweden. Head to their website for free education and athlete profiles to dial in your race day nutrition.
We are as ready as we are going to be. Time to go race a world championship.
Enjoy!

This course is beautiful as it is. It is so brutal and long and tough. I mean, that's what you must never forget that as you get all the beautiful images and over the years, the top teams got faster, et cetera. But it is just a brutal one day race, which is why it's the one where at the end of the day you call yourself a world champion. And it's really well deserved. There's nothing like it. Can't wait. Yeah. Well, well said. I don't know how to do it. Yeah. We really think that you're making us, now you're making us nervous. I'm usually asking my nerves. Yeah, hold on. Yeah, it's going to be a good one. Welcome to the LoTide Boys, a Sword Run podcast. I'm Chip. And I'm Chris. And this is episode 348 of the show. And this is the last installment in our countdown to Etoulauza series,
where officially zero months out. It's the final countdown. There's no more time. By the time you're listening to this, if you are racing, Utila, and you're coming from the United States, you're likely potentially on the plane. Maybe you're already in Stockholm, or if you're cheering on somebody who's racing, we're already in Sweden, because it's happening. We're just days away from the world. And we're going to be in a race. And we're going to be in a race. And we're going to be in a race. And we're going to be in a race. And we're going to be in a race. And we're going to be in a race. And we're just days away from happening. It's a very exciting chipper. But before we get into this week's fine program for you all, like to thank our sponsor. Yes. You know, it's rare that we have one, but we have had one for this entire series. And it's our dear friends at precision fuel and hydration, who we are going to be on site. So by the time that you are listening to this show, you should have gone back in time and checked out all the reels
that we've been putting out, because we're going to be going to PFA headquarters. We're going to see the team. We're going to do some science. Science. Yeah, we're trying to do some stuff. We did some mind-melding. It's like, what can we do in the PFA sheet lab chamber that will bring the most good to the swarming community? Not just, you know, find out what, you know, what our sweat rates are. We might also do that again, just to see how those are checking in. But also, what can we bring forward for the community there? But, yeah, huge shout out to PFA, as always. And I'm looking at a Mondo pile of 90s that I know I will be bringing 10 90s on board with me for the Attila Champs race. It's a commitment. That's a lot. But I'm going to make it happen. And it's a good motivation when you're packed to the gills to start guzzling that stuff down. I mean, frankly, if there's any reason to kind of overpack fuel,
it's to just start trying to clear it. That's a huge motivator for taking your fueling. Yeah, maybe overdoing it probably. Absolutely. And actually, we just, I got a new shipment in. They have the watermelon chews as well, which is one of their new flavors. Very tasty. They're so good. It's like, oh, I kind of feel like a little sweet treat. It's like, I don't need to have any of my watermelon chews now. And then got some caffeine gels as well. Because you can never have enough caffeine. And it's a nice 100, 100 milligrams of caffeine, which I'll use to start my day off on Sondheim on Monday. Yeah, it's going to be great. But yeah, we're super stoked for the sport of P.F.H. You can definitely go to their website to schedule not just a free consultation, but also see a lot of their athlete profiles, huge database of information. Certainly, it's the place where you should go to figure out new nutrition stuff. But, Chipper, we're zero months out from Attila.
It's here. It's here. How are you feeling now that the hay is in the barn? Is it we say? The hay is in the barn. And I think that's kind of, this is the house, the body, how's the mind area. I think the body is, you know, it is what it is. I'm feeling fresh. I think the sort of casco to, you know, today, I don't even build, isn't that even the right word, but just kind of sharpening piece. You know, I, you know, big ups to Coach Liz. I've definitely been feeling very ready and fit. And in a good place from a fitness standpoint on this, it's kind of more of the mind and kind of the, I think we've, you and I, you know, we've been feeling it's here, kind of a little bit of an anxious feelings building. And then, you know, you're watching everyone else's stuff on Strava. And you're like, oh, man am I. And it's like, just stick to the plan. Stick to the plan and just do what you're told. Don't worry about what Jane and Joe Schmauer are doing over wherever. Just kind of stick to the plan, but mind your business.
Mind and my own business. But excited, motivated and really pumped to get over there. And really now we're transitioning to the work is in. Now it's time for Disneyland, time for the fun out on the archipelago. What about your self, Chris? Yeah, well, you know, it's the type of thing where it always feels like there's more hay that you could put in the barn. But there just isn't enough time to go get the hay and put it in. So you just have to kind of be realistic of where we things at. And, you know, feeling pretty good about it. Certainly, wish I would have felt a little bit bitter going in. But it's also, it'll be fine. It's going to be great. I'm going to just rely on experience. And I think casco to me has still been sort of a big sort of confidence, not necessarily confidence boost, but just like a, you know, like a feather in your quiver in terms of that was super gritty. We did that for five hours. We certainly do that for longer if needed. Yeah, definitely. And I find that helpful for myself.
And I also too call back to casco or those really hard workouts when kind of things get tough out there. It's like, hey, we've done this before. We've done this course a couple times. Certainly, we're studied up on it from a, from a book smart perspective. Yeah, I just re-downloaded all of the course preview, the course breakdown and the course overview shows, which again, view, view anxious and you have a six hour or nine hour flyer or 13 hour flyer flying day or whatever. These are a great way to kind of process that anxiety and kind of get a real feel. Start with the overview with Oscar Olsen, which we did in 2021. And then in 2023, we did a series basically like a triplicate where we broke the course into thirds and then had a special guest to walk us through each island, very tactical, very sort of in the weeds, very nuanced. And as of time of recording, I just finished listening to part one of PJ Michelle. Yeah, and DJ knows what he's doing out there. I can't tell you Chipper how helpful it felt.
Did it bring you back? And I was like, yes, this is this will already felt my anxiety go down just by like a little bit. Right. Just just a smidge. And so just a recommendation for folks of reactions doing this first time or the third time like us. Information's power can help you study the course map. Check that stuff out. It can be really helpful. I think that's helping me also mentally where, you know, this year, I've been all over the place. I've had past a way of dealing just buried him. It's just a whole thing like I'm trying to, I'm trying to access that happy place and actually listening to like a race reports and stuff has been good. So it's like, oh, yeah, we're going to have fun. This is going to be good. I mean, I already know one thing we can guarantee and work control of work and control of how much fun that we have. And you know, that's something that we're always optimizing for. And Chris is sharing that he download those prompted me to down as well, including our two race reports that we have. We just have a slurry of a Tala world championship related content.
We even have a whole page on low type boys dot com dedicated to that with not only our race reports, friends of the show, former guests of the show, their race reports. We have multiple gear guides, reflections, nutrition with P F H like, I mean, we feel like we cracked every not to crack for this thing. But we have it all on one page. It's in the main navigation there, ultimate guides to like until a world championship to sum up with chipper saying, yeah, sorry. When I say poops, when if you don't know what we're talking about, you're not prepared to study more. You got to, you got to study more because this is information that you should have to make your day that much better. But yeah, I think like really looking forward to going out there. It's 20th edition. There's all this stuff happening, including we're holding a Fika, that which is going to be Saturday at 9 a.m. 9 a.m. local time at Vette cotton at right in Stockholm. It's like 55.
I can't pronounce the name, but it's on our Facebook. There's a Facebook event. It's also if you're in the, you know, world USA athletes WhatsApp. We've shared the link in there. We'll also be picking that again. It'll be on Instagram. So if you're listening to this and you want to hang out, you don't even have to hang out with us. You can hang out with all the other former runners that show up. But it's a great place just to hang out, meet some, see some Americans open to all nationalities. I would agree for sure. For your friends and family, whoever. Yeah, we always get some locals, so you know, fans of the show, it's great to buy us a bunch of folks that come out. It's fun. It's a great way. And obviously, if you're new to the show, we love the Fika. If you're new to go in a Sweden, you're going to love the Fika. You're going to have a good time if you like pastries of any kind or coffee to it or coffee's good. So we're going to have some stickers to give away. If you're watching this on YouTube, we got some new stickers and we remade our old magnet with just fan favorites. You probably put this on a t-shirt at some point and a quick little history. So one of the magnets is no sleep to Luta.
And sometimes, Chipper, there is a team that comes up with a team name that is just needs to be memorialized. So shout out, Scott Sermire and Diane Binky, who I think was last year or two years ago, it was team no sleep to Luta. And they did the roll champs. Just awesome name. So if you guys come out, we'll have stickers. If you can't come to our Fika, we'll just be carrying these things. So make sure you hit us up if you want some limited edition of Toulouse stickers. So I have one that just says swim around evangelist in case you are one as we are one evangelist. But yeah, that is on Saturday. And that's not the only thing that we have going on on Saturday. As you'll hear later in the interview, we have a Toulouse racetrack or Dominic Lou on giving us a nice preview of the pointy end of the race. So women's mixed and men's podium contenders and favorites, as well as walking through what's going to happen on Saturday, which is kind of their 20th anniversary celebration.
So this is happening about 15 minute drive from Stockholm Center. It's an open, very casual thing. I think was made very clear. It's not a, you know, there's not a gun going off. It's an open swim run course. It starts at 10 a.m. and it goes until like two or three in the afternoon. And then there's food and drink and there'll be some swim run gear from yesterday year in there. The original four will be there. And I think just a lot of people from the swimming run community will be around and the low tide boys will be there as well. Yeah, we're probably going to go kind of pretty soon right after our feca. Yep. Go to the course and then hang out. Yeah, seven K. So pretty chill. So you can do a loop or two loops, whatever we're just going to do one loop, I think. Yep. And then yeah, then just hang out, break breads, see everyone and just kind of celebrate the sport that we love turning 20. Can't believe it. And then on Sunday, if you're in Stockholm, that's when the U.S. love bubble officially.
What's the, is there a special word for when a bubble forms? Is that is there like a science and plates? Okay. So when the U.S. love bubble inflates, I didn't know if there's a more science. I don't have. I mean, see you at Durinasa, which is an amazing hotel spa. What that actually has a great infinity pool that Chris and I finally checked out after going there for three. It's like the world's coolest hot tub occasions. And we will be again hosting a pre race. You know, a fireside chat sort of thing that will have for about 30 minutes or so before the official briefing. We'll be in very casual. We'll have, you know, ex racers coming up multi time, Uttala start line. Folks, multi time finishers. Yeah. We'll champion or two. We're also specifically going to do like a sort of conditions update based on what we know. We'll talk to the race directors to kind of get a sense of what the islands are looking like.
We also have someone from arc sports to talk about gear recommendations. In case you want to do some last minute, throw money at the problem type stuff. We always got you covered for that type of content. We'll be in the front of that line. But yeah, so if you are racing out to law, it's going to be right around the time when you're picking up your packet and stuff and right before the race briefing. So stop by say hi, sit, enjoy nothing super formal. But yeah, super stoked that the Dominic asked us to do that again. It's really fun and a great way to kind of get back to the community a little bit. Yeah, then it's then it's go time on Monday. Labor, keep saying Labor Day. Is it Labor Day? It is Labor Day. I guess I was saying Memorial Day. And now I've already engaging self-card. Yeah, so Labor Day here in the US, different for this year, anyone who wants to watch it, this is going to be broadcast live. Sweden's TV 4, which is sort of their national station, is going to be basically hosting a like a eight hour live program for this thing.
And they're going to be covering both the elite field, but then also kind of what's happening in the middle of the pack and back to the pack. So that'll be really fun. And you can all the information is on the Atele website and you can just tune in and watch. So if you're in the US, you know, my wife, she already has all the details. All the details will be watching with the kids. So it'll be super fun. But yeah, new ways to experience swamrun if you can't actually be there. And you can tell Dominic and the team at Atele really trying to make the most of the 20th anniversary. And I think bringing this level of media coverage is he'll share with us later is like his goal. He wants to have this for every race, every Atele brand and swamrun. But this will be kind of the first time testing that out. And then once again, we'll also have like the GPS tracker. So if you like following a dots around on a map, that's available for you as well. And yeah, go to the chip will be wearing that. Damn, it's time. We're going in again. And yeah, go to the Atele site.
And there's actually like a little live button. And you click that and it'll take you to kind of everything you need. But plenty of time or you know, plenty of different ways to watch and follow along. For sure. I think with that, you know, it's always great to have Dominic Luan. As we mentioned in the conversation, if he's coming on us because two things like Atele is happening, or there's like new race. This is the race coming up. So but it's great that he took the time. He's super busy. You'll hear in the conversation of just getting all the super teams kind of matched up and everything else, loss of logistics. It's, I mean, they really care. And I can't wait to be on that course again, especially after last year, Chipper kind of being on the boats and seeing sort of behind the scenes, what goes on. Yeah, it's going to be really exciting to kind of be back. Yeah. And the scenes. I think last year, being more behind the scenes, really got a new and deeper appreciation for, you know, hey, yeah, you know, Stefan and Dominic are kind of, we'll just say the faces or the race directors.
But the whole team behind the scenes, you know, 20, 30 plus people really have the same passion that we have of racing it. They have the same passion to make sure that our experience is amazing. So obviously hats off to those people. And we always try to, you know, every volunteer we pass or aid station or anyone you see, just give them a thanks because they're doing this. And they're trying to make sure that you have a great day out there. So just pass along some some gratitude to them. Yeah, just give them a, just give them a, just give them a talk. Talk means thank you and Swedish. So talk, just talk them up. Talk, there you go. Absolutely. Well, anything else? No, we'll see you at the Fika and Stockholm. Come get some stickers, come get some magnets. And if we don't see you there, we'll see you at the 20th anniversary Shakeout Stormrun lunch thing. If we don't see you there, we'll see you at Dernosit and on the start line for Attila, the 20th edition of the Swarmrun World Championship.
It's here, people. The final countdown to do. Where's your guitar? Ah. All right, very excited to welcome back to the show, our dear friend Dominic Liu. Welcome. Hey guys, how are you? Pretty good. Pretty good. Yeah, you know, whatever Dominic's on, that could mean one of two things. It's new races coming up or we have the World Championship knocking on our doorstep. We're here for the latter. Dominic is here to share sort of, we're going to do a little race prediction show as to what teams are lining up, who's, who's matched up with home. I know that's a big part of getting ready for the World Champs these days.
But before that, you know, we have an awesome weekend. We have the 20th edition of Attila coming. How are you feeling about it? Are you excited about it as excited as we are? Yeah, well, really, really excited. I mean, it's been very, very busy, of course, as is to be expected when you have the largest field that we've ever had in an artillery race. And on top of that, you have 130 volunteers and 30 bolts out there. And it's a big organization, but it's every year. It's the highlight of the year for us. The whole team, everyone is so full of energy working towards it. And like you, I mean, we're all just excited to get it going now, because you can prepare forever. But that comes a point when everything just has to fall into place. And yeah, so we can't wait to now get it going. But it's going to be cool. How are you doing? Are you ready? No, we're ready. We're ready. We're going to be the prediction game, too.
And the little guy's voice going to end up. Yeah, pretty. We are going to finish. Yeah, we're, you know, we're on a run early this morning and the hay's already in the barn. You know, there's not too many workouts that can really give us any net benefit here. Stay healthy. You know, get your good sleep and just kind of try to stay sharp as we're worth focused. But, you know, we're really super stoked for our third appearance at the race. And all the festivities that are surrounding the 20th edition, including ticking off on Saturday with a social swim run. Yeah, I mean, we've been thinking long and hard and what we do about the 20th anniversary. And I mean, one thing, it started already probably a year and a half ago that people were contacting us and said, Hey, for the 20th anniversary, I would love to be a part of it in some way. Ideally, I'd like to race. So we had so many people coming to us and asking,
is there any way that we can get in because it's gotten harder for the, you know, with getting points, etc. So the first thing that we did last year and we already announced that after the World Champ. Right after the World Champs last year was that we would give away more wild cards and never to teams who participated in the past because we really felt that it should be a get-together of all the people that have somehow been part of this race in the past. And it was really quite overwhelming. Not only how many people applied, but, you know, we asked people to share their stories. And, you know, why, you know, do you want to be part of this? And it's really, really cool. And then it not only is it exciting to read, but you also realize that it's an obligation. We have an obligation to keep this thing going and keep this making it bigger and grow it. And for all these people who've shared so many memories with us. So that was the first thing and I think people were getting excited when we could confirm that they could be part of it already last year.
And then the next thing was like, okay, what are we going to do to celebrate? And the initial idea was like, yeah, wow, of course, you know, birthday party, what do you do? You have some sort of dinner or stuff like this. And then after a while we were like, look, this is not an actualist. Our community wants to get together in a casual way and just have an activity. So the idea was born that we would try and create a course somewhere in Stockholm where people can just go out and enjoy a little swim run and then get together in a cool location and enjoy some drinks and food and stories, etc. And I'm sure you've met Peter Smith over the years. He's been a long time participant and friend of Ursula and he has a bunch of restaurants in Stockholm. And he has this place out on Borkham in Ireland, which is a small little island, but it has a really, really cool restaurant with outdoor facilities and everything.
And actually in the area you can create a little swim run course that is still very close to the city. So it's easy to get to for everybody. And we said, look, this is just a perfect location for us. So we booked the whole place and created the course and then we said, hey, you know, it should really be. It wouldn't be more fun if we allowed people to basically come and race whichever way they want, which has always been the earthy little style in the past. You know, when they first started and people came with, you know, the inflatable Nokia phone and all these kind of things. So anything is allowed in this one and it's not really a race. You're not going to pick up a timing chip and you're going to have a time if you want. But the the spirit is just to, hey, get together and do the loop. And if you had fun, you do it again. And if you want to go for a better time, you can do it again. If you just want to do it for the sake of it and try someone's stuff or whatever, you can just go out and do it.
That's the idea. I love that. And you know, that's that's one thing that that really is the community aspect. And it sounds like the whole, I think starting from 10 a.m. until, you know, into the afternoon, the community, you know, will be out there. We know we'll be out there and we know the community will be out there. And I'm excited to see how many, how what that Strava like heat map looks like after the weekend, all the all the circus that people are going to be burning in there. And then there's going to be some course records following. I'm sure on Strava. Should we give him a GP, GP X track as again? One of my all time favorite memes of the low tide boys when you were tracking the, you showed the screen of watching our friends sleep the night before the artillery was you. Yeah, I guess you'll track it down and do a nest. Yeah, yeah, that was a bit of one of our favorites as well. So, so for folks that maybe you're coming to Attila or coming to Sweden for the first time or the 19th time.
What can you give people a flavor of what to expect and what sort of the environment is going to be like when they get there. On you mean on the Saturday or on the Sunday? Yeah, for Saturday. For Saturday. Well, I mean, that's really it's a big get together and it's as casual as can be. So, coming you way to come in jeans and t-shirt or you know whichever way you want is really just come and join us. I think we've invited about a thousand people. Everyone who's ever done Attila who we still have a need for. We send an email to but I mean those people spread all over the world. You can also just sign up for the race on our website if you haven't done Attila, but you still want to be part of it. But it's really about coming out and just enjoying the community. And of course we have the original for there and we have a bunch of former watch champions and we get people to share their stories. So, if you have a good story ready then we have a speaker there who will just walk up to him and I think it's all about just sharing your experiences from whenever it dates back to.
So, that's the idea. From that point of view we've kept it relatively open like there's no set agenda for that day or anything. We, you know, it's a day that we're giving to the community and we'll, you know, everybody can come with whatever backstory they have to and what Attila has given them over the years. And I hope that people will just share it because that's what will make you know for a good afternoon. Nice and we're it's about a 15 minute drive or you know way to get there from Stockholm city. Yeah, yeah, get jumping in Uber or you know get we have it all on our website. You know, it's public transport getting you out there. It's 15 minutes. So, you know, if you have pre-raised nerves and you want to calm them down a little bit just come out and have a beer with us. Yeah, it's really easy and you know you can come for a, you know, if you want to raise race, if you just want to come for a drink or the food. That's also fine if you want to come for half an hour. It's easy or if you want to spend a day.
So, it's it's as open and flexible we like that. That's always been our style. Attila and Spoon Run is a bit of a free, you know, free spirited community. So, that's why we wanted to keep it that way. Nice and I heard there's going to be maybe some old old school gear there. Some people kind of bringing some of their wet suits or these like stuff. He had the idea back then. I think he had a white wet suit because for whatever reason he thought it wasn't silky or something like that. So, I mean, you know, the old gear. I mean, it was the old wet suits were a joke really and all those self-made bullboys. Yeah, I mean, if you look at, you can kind of see on the, especially with the equipment, you can see how fast Woon Run has come. Because I mean, you've got to give those people credit who did this 15 years ago in wet suits that would gain two and a half kilos in weight. And you know, remember the old days, everyone was just so sore all over the place and you had these self-made bullboys that fell apart and the shoes where people, you know,
would drill holes in the soles and so whatever you can find and have a good story to tell, bring it out. And you can use it in the race. Steve, it still works. I know stuff on that whole garage full of stuff. So he will bring stuff and I think he's doing some inflatable Nokia's out there and say, if people want to give it a rip, go old school with that. You know, chipper. You know, you can find one. Maybe we should do that. That's right. It's funny. You say that because I spent a couple of weeks ago. I was like, it'd be really funny. Like, it's fine when these giant Nokia inflatables. They're impossible to find. I was like, eBay. I went deep trying to source one of these things, but you know, they're like 20 years old. Like they're just, they're not in circulation as far as I can buy. Yeah. No, we haven't found any of those. So, but yeah, whatever you can find, bring it. I mean, people used to have, you know, flippers and some people would take their shoes off. And I mean, there's all kinds of crazy stories from the early years. And that's the fun of it, whereas nowadays it's pretty much standardized. But then people are also doing it in, you know, 30% less time.
What they think that's an interesting feature of the evolution of the sport because it sounds like on Saturday, like it can be kind of funky. And, you know, maybe I'll try to make like a, you know, leader bottle, pull, bluey type situation for the event. Just a bunch of duct tape. See what happens. But that technology has improved so much. And obviously, you know, arc and head are really behind a lot of this evolution. But Daniel San, in particular. But like this sport is so much faster now than it was back then. And it's going to be really cool to see, you know, for the 20th edition, just the fast teams are going to be super fast. And then the folks that are coming that have been doing this race for a long time. I mean, it's just going to be so interesting to see from a technology side just how the sport is grown. And what a way to feature it by having it sort of old school on Saturday and then cutting edge on Monday. Yeah. And I mean, but you know, the race hasn't gotten any easier and I know in a lot of our races.
The elite has become so good. And we often, you know, the elite finish and people who are watching there like, oh, you know, I'm amazed. They look relatively fresh and relaxed after, you know, four and a half hours of racing. And I always say, well, wait a couple of hours. Then you see the people in the back. And that's where the real struggle is. I mean, when people do six, seven, eight, nine hours in those races, you've got to give them a lot of credit for, you know, hanging in and just, you know, never giving up and getting to that finish line, no matter what. So, yeah, absolutely. It's a whole bandwidth. But yes, the elite has improved a lot. And the times have improved a lot over the years. So, so you, you kind of alluded to it if you're watching this. So this year, you know, last year, you know, low tide boys were out there, like doing some color commentary this year. It's actually going to be like a live production. Can you tell us a little about coming what's happening there?
Yeah. So because it's the anniversary and the way, I mean, we've seen. After we created the elite program for this year, and the goal for the elite program was to give the best people in the sport and a really good deal and a big incentive to come to as many races as possible. Because we understand, you know, it's a cost to travel to the events, but we know people really, really want to come and race. And for us, it's cool when we have as many great, really, really good athletes as possible at the races because that makes more for more fun racing. And then it becomes, you know, a product where it makes sense to have a TV production and looking at the list this year of all the athletes that we have on the start line. I mean, we can, we can talk about it in a little bit, but it's so cool to see how many teams are now so close together. And we've seen it in all the races. And then that makes for a fun product to watch. So we decided, well, now we should really take the step and invest the money and have a live production of the event.
So it's a full live production where we will have a runner in a drone on all the lead teams in all three categories. So men, women and mixed. And we have a fun sort of report that at the slower end. And it'll be a familiar person to you who brings a lot of energy to the sport. So we have it all covered. We don't just look at the at the elite, but obviously that's where everyone is excited to see or curious to see who's going to be the winners. But we also look at the sort of back of the field and get the atmosphere from there. And it's going to be live on TV four in Sweden, which pretty much everyone in Sweden has access to and they will have exclusive for Sweden. And then we're putting the live signal also on our website on the live site on race day. And you can just all you have to enter your email address and then it's free access. So you just have to put your email address in such that you confirm that you are real. And then it's free for all it's going to be in.
We call it swinglish. So it's an English production Swedish style. And basically you can watch it all over. And then on top of that, we have highlights distribution in the days following up to it. And I think it's a billion households that get it, you know, the highlights while a distribution partner. So really, we've made a big effort to give it as much presence as we can for this anniversary year. But it's not just for this year. I mean, this is what we want to do ideally for all our races in the future. Because that's what ultimately, you know, that's the way to promote the sport these days. And that's where we want to be with some run. Well, yeah, that's super exciting. And I know especially folks here in the United States, there's always always a lot of excitement around the race. How can they watch and tune in? So glad to hear that there's like a streaming option as well. They don't have to get some VPN and a Sweden.
So it's a lot of social media stuff. So people will see it. Yeah. And you know, I want to commend you all and give some praise on the level up that we've seen this year just on the social media from all the races across the board and on the USA account as well as the until our race account. I think really strong presence. And I think the elite program has really paid dividends for you all and like giving something just what you just said, the goal of it is to like give a more exciting pointy end of the race to watch, but also kind of highlight that. And I've certainly enjoyed watching all the races unfold on that way. And I know our community has as well. Cool. Well, it's good to hear, but it's really something that we want to do to give back to the athletes. I mean, you know how much these people train and how amazing athletes they all are. I mean, I talked to a lot of athletes from different sports. And I know that, you know, if because it's not something that people do professionally often people like, yeah, it's just one run thing.
You know, it's a fun kind of adventure thing. Yes, it is. But at the top level, we have unbelievably strong athletes. And we've seen it over the years whenever we had top triathletes come into a Nurtula event. And then they're like, yeah, yeah, well, I'm a professional athlete. So basically like get out of the way. I'm, you know, I'm going to win this. I'm not going to name any names, but over the years, I've seen. Humboldt or a great. This is different than I expected. And it's cool. And I think for them, we should give them really, really as much presence as we can. Yeah. And that's absolutely. You know, what you've mentioned it for the sport to grow developing a sport to grow. And I think that's the most important thing to do. And I think that's the most important thing to do. And I think that's the most important thing to do.
And that's as much as we can. Yeah. And that's absolutely. You know, what you've mentioned it for the sport to grow developing a professional class is what inspires the young kids to do it and everything else you son into a lot of like Crowley and all these guys back in the day, like they're super inspiring in order to get other people into the sport. that you're doing the same courses these folks is awesome. Like, you know, we just did casco and I can't tell you how many people I was like, hey, you see that guy over there? Daniel Hansen, who's letting you on the web suit, like you have to be the legend. Yeah, this guy, this guy is a stone cold killer on the school, you know, a virtual world champion, one water race world champion. Like, we're literally sweeter, special forces and people are like, you just looks like a normal guy. I'm like, yeah. Yeah. So, so yeah, like highlighting these people and letting that we are, I think it's super helpful. So, so, so, so, I mean, we've been jumping to that. I mean, we see so many young kids now
in, in experience races. I mean, a lot of whether you watched any of the coverage of the of the all on race, it was quite incredible. It's also cool to see all our elite athletes coming with their kids. So, there's a lot of youngsters coming out and then don't forget I mean, in in Gothenburg, we had two under 18 year olds on the podium in the World Series solo races. So, that coming and wow, you know, they're coming loads of them are coming. So, it's really, really good. And it's taking a few years after that. I mean, three, four years, we were really wondering what can we do to bring more young people. But it's now when I look back, I don't have any numbers and how many youngsters we had in all the races this year, but it's definitely growing and, you know, as we see them, then they move into sprint and then they move into the World Series. So, they also they see the path. And this year with the the question that I got the most from the youngsters was like, hey, why do some people have these gold caps?
Well, we were like, well, that's the elite. And then you can see it in their eyes. Like, they're like, I want these caps. What do I have to do to get one of these? Well, you've got to be on a podium. Okay. Okay. So, it was pretty cool. And I was I was laughing because I was out on the course in all under the experience race. And then, you know, first you have Martin Flinstein running past like crazy. Then you had the the cable bleak and there were no one pier behind him. They had raised the date before and they were like, whoa, this guy's killing us. And behind them were, you know, Christy Larsson and Daniel Hanson's kids. The little guys were coming along, total pros. By the way, you know, of course, transitions, perfect transitions, perfect gear. That's here is looks on their faces. Which is about stress from this kid. So really cool to see. And everybody's having fun, you know, no matter the age. Yeah. And we've been singing the United States as two at I know at the Austin race,
especially in that experienced distance. I don't know the number of hand. I want to say is between eight to 12 under 18 year olds doing that races as well. And it just I think the sport is just, you know, really is able to kind of tap into that venture more venture some spirit of youth. And it really is just something cool that they can do with their friends or even with their with their parents as well. No, it's really, really good. Cool. Well, we'll see you at Saturday at the social swan run, Fika, you know, old gear, swap, soda bottle, pull, Bowie set up there. And then as as normal Sunday kicks off the what we refer to as the to love bubble over on under an asset. So we got the bus ride from Stockholm out there. And I'm sure there's lots of the festivities that people normally expect about what a Sunday look like.
Typically, you know, people come out to do an asset on, you know, three o'clock in the afternoon. And that's really when the whole community gets together. I mean, we have to say the event. And I think, you know, the majority of the races, I don't know when everybody's traveling will get out to do an asset on Sunday, three in the afternoon. And then, you know, you register and you we have a nice surprise for everyone this year. For all the participants and then, you know, we have a bit of, and you know, a Fika and then we have you guys. We're handing this stage to you like last year. Sort of between three, thirty and four, thirty in the afternoon. Again, we're keeping in casual. You're just going to be the main stage. You have a bunch of guests to talk to, you know, mix of all stories and maybe give people who are new to this, you know, a bit of last minute advice. Yeah. Not to change everything that they've prepared for, but you guys always have helpful information. And then five o'clock we have the race briefing, which is always fun.
We've got a good film produced again. And stuff on takes us through the course one last time. And then there's a bit of media work for the elite people after that. And then there's a lot of things that we've been doing for a while. And then we're going to be doing this dinner and then I think everybody's trying to sleep, but no one sleeps. And it's all we can do is try right and early and it just dive into it. Yeah. Any sort of change logistics given how many extra people are racing this year? I mean, it's going to be the biggest field ever. Yeah. Almost a big of teams. Which it brought us to it gave us some challenges after admit. And then we have a lot of logistics side. I mean, of course, there's a limited number of rooms on the UNSID and there's even more limited number of rooms on on auto. But basically the overall concept is the same. We have a much bigger boat that we're using on Sunday, which actually makes life easier. Because you don't have to move your luggage from one to the other. It's just all in one. But other than that, no, it's going to be a little crowded on the first few kilometers.
And then you have a long swim that was bred out the field. And then I hope everybody's well prepared, such that we don't have an avalanche of cutoffs. So keep people keep moving, especially in the air. These are the race. Because it is tough and it's tough the first few hours. Let's see what the conditions will be like. But yeah, no, other than that, I mean, logistics and everything is pretty much the same as always. Great. Great. So let's transition to a little bit of race prediction show. When you and I, Dom, were, were, it's like, hey, we want to get you on for this stuff. You're like, not yet, because I am up to my eyeballs and trying to get teams here. Play like matchmaker for team. So we waited to the last possible second to get you on before we all lie over to sleep. So tell us a little bit, just like if we can, you know, peek behind the curtain. Like, what is that like for you when, you know, essentially the way the world champs is now, it's not like someone you've raised with for years.
And this is like the culmination like Chipper and I like, there's no one else I would feel comfortable racing this way. It's because we just done all our races together. But it's really like suit essentially super teams deciding, hey, we're going to throw our lot in together and go for it. So what is that like sort of behind the scenes? Like to the teams read to the athletes who chow to you as a team. Like give us a little bit of flavor. What parts is your headaches? It's not causing me headaches. I'm just always surprised to win the first thing that surprised us. Because when we created the Elite program, we were discussing whether it should be teams for the whole year. And it was a clear wish from the athletes. Like, no, we want to change. We want to be able to change team partners for the races. And we're like, all right, that's fine. And we've seen, I mean, if you followed what the Elite's been doing, it's crazy. I mean, they've basically every race, they've tested, well, whether you call it tested, but they've raced in different combinations.
Which I thought was quite amazing, especially at that very high level. And that we also see for the World Championships. I mean, I remember that beginning of August, I still, I'm not always immediately involved in all these partner changes, because there's a lot going on behind the scenes. They always, you know, they call it silly season, and all of a sudden in August, all the team names, team partners change. And it's been crazy this year, really crazy. Early August, pretty much the entire podium in all categories last year, were still not signed up. But it wasn't clear. I mean, I knew some people were injured, and I know that this team is no longer racing. And we were like, okay, people, if we want to build the story, we need to know who's racing. And it was really that a lot of people told us, look, we're using Ireland as the final test.
And Ireland is really a, it's a perfect test for the World Championship. We've got three weeks to go after that. It's a brutally race. Very similar from the layout point of view to the World Championship, very technically at the beginning, with a longer run towards the end. It's also 10k swimming. It's a very long race with 46 kilometers. So a lot of people are telling us, okay, after all, and we'll make a decision. And, you know, that's why I told you guys, when you were first trying to do this, like, if we want to talk about the teams, then we need to keep the date as late as possible. So we've seen a lot of that. And, yeah, I don't know. You would know better what's happening behind the scenes. I sometimes can't leave it at, when people are injured, you know, I need someone. But it's tricky when you have top athletes. You can't just say, oh, I know this guy, so and so. He's interested in trying swim run. Yeah, well, yeah. If Adrian Young is looking for a partner, you know,
could not give him some Joe Dose. I can't find that on Facebook, I cannot think. Yeah. So at the high level is it's challenging to find, you know, to match these teams. But that's, I think it's also part of the fun. And it'll be really, really interesting to see how all these pairings we have a lot of new ones, how they will work out, some more established ones. And let's see. We can talk about them a little bit. Yeah, so let's break it down by category. So we can do women's mixed men's. But before that, any notable absences from this year's race, that, you know, like maybe folks would know these people are maybe not. But like any people who are like, oh man, it's kind of a bummer. They're not here for the 20th. Well, the Jerome Guggen, last year's winners, they came up with a lot of the list track in Jerome. You know, they had a fun, I thought it was a fantastic race between them and Adrian and Hugo. But Jerome's been struggling with an injury all year.
And he was one of those. He kept telling me whenever I saw him that he really, really, really wants to do the world championship. But he's not sure he can. And that was a bit of a bummer. So he's one that comes up. I know Lika Erickson, I spoke to. She was like, well, I'm changing jobs. I have, you know, people have other obligations. And for the anniversary race, I think I would have liked to see her there. I know, Daisy, Anderson, who won so many times over the year, would have been cool to have. Maybe there's some last minute things happening. I don't know. But she would have been one where I thought, oh, yeah, it would be a good one. But other than that, I mean, I think we have a pretty complete field. And it's also, it's very competitive. And sometimes, you know, it's cool. I always look at how close people are together. How many teams do we have that are at a similar level? Because that will make for an exciting race.
Yeah. And I think in terms of like cat, you know, country breakdown, Sweden, France, and the US are really bringing like big numbers. US especially in the women's division, which is so awesome to see. Yeah. But yeah, let's get into Buster with women's. What are you seeing as sort of like, again, let's get into kind of race prediction mode. Like what are the top teams that you see lining up and what's kind of your take on who's going to do well? I have my little cheat sheet here. So I've got to look at that. But the women's is particularly interesting this year because there's a team that is new this year. And it was today's also asking Clara Shergren. You've maybe started swim run a year ago. Teresa obviously has done, you know, she's done a lot of races over the years. At the beginning of the year, she was like, yeah, you know, I have a new partner and I feel that I have a bit of an obligation to, you know, manage Clara with me. But then they did the first few races in Clara. I was so strong that Teresa was like, okay, now I'm trying to keep up.
And they did really, really well in all the races on the podium every time they race this year. So in all land, they were basically, you know, chasing is maybe the wrong word. But they had to leak our air exon in ladyvokey inside the entire race distance. And he was pretty incredible because it was always just a couple of minutes. And you know, a couple of minutes is, you know, someone has a little slip or a fall in a couple of minutes. Yeah, that's it. So in the third and fourth team were also with insights. So it was pretty exciting. And they, it's the first team that I wrote down for this year in the women's category, which I think is pretty cool that it's a brand new team. Then we have Vio Andres O and Melison Mula who have done very well in a number of races. They were third in all land. Both really, really strong athletes. You are and is a super strong swimmer. And the two of them together.
You know, we have to see, but I put them right up there for Canada and on the podium. Now we have the finish. Ladies, Heidi Hibarainen and Heidi Kainen, they are always, they're always strong in these super tough races. Let's see what the conditions will be like. Could be, could be a cold one this year. We don't know yet. The summer has been very warm. But you know, it's, it's late in the year later than usual because the Monday, first Monday in September this year is relatively late. And then we have Elfiano and Camille Marshall from France. I mean, Elfio, you know, raised so many times over the years. I think she goes back to 2015. She did really well in Rügen this year with together with Tom Valide. So in day, our strong Penila, Ilven, Anna Larson. Penila has been on the podium. So there, you know, I wouldn't know who's faster compared to the teams that I mentioned before. And then we have the Americans.
Amanda Martin, Fjörn and Larson. They did really well. The last three. Third in Gothenburg, you know, smiling all along. It seemed like they had a really good time out there. So why not see them on the podium? I mean, that's, so that's one, two, three, four, five, six teams, you know, follow-drew. And Marina Anderson is plenty more way like, okay. And remember last year we had like seven teams within half an hour. And the women's category. So hopefully, hopefully they'll be really close together. And we can have cameras on them showing, you know, how the race evolves. But, you know, I think that's going to be a really, really exciting category to watch. All of them are. But, you know, here, not so easy to predict who's going to be the winner in this. Yeah. Nice. Seems like a nice tight race. And, you know, we're excited for the Vermamas. We were super, super happy to see them on the podium in Gothenburg.
And I know they're relatively new to the swan run scene. So it's just been great to see them get on there. And yeah, I don't think I've seen them not smiling. Which is great. And they're powered by the amazing Vermont maple syrup, of course. Yeah. Which is super. Of course. Yeah, I was really fun to see them. Yeah. What can I say? I think that's right. Yeah. Let's move on to mixed category. Mixed. Cool. Well, the mix is the next. Huh? It's got to be excited. The mix, I feel like, is the where we start to see some of these really super teams. Yeah. Well, this is super exciting this year. So first of all, we have Hannah and Johanskaw. But, I mean, last year's winnest. Hannah, this year, I don't believe it was. I mean, she's become the strongest, I would say the strongest female athlete that we have in the circuit. Oh, her racism. I mean, she's leading the lead ranking. She won all the races and she won them like in style.
I mean, it was really, really impressive to see. Yeah. And, you know, that's obviously a very, very strong team. But then Anna has dream and Alexi Shari. Both of them former World Champions. Anna will broke the course record last year together with Sabina Rapelli. Alexi in, you know, is a former World Champion. They raised together in this year in Gothenburg. And had a really, really good day together. I think that was the first time they raised together. And afterwards they were like, oh, this worked really well. So they're going to do the World Champion. Yeah, I mean, you know, put them against Scarbrats. Cool to see. Then we have the first, you know, the French is Liddy Vokier and Tom Lallit. I mean, Tom's been on the podium this year in Rügen with Elfie, in Engelin, with Remiandrad, and in Allland with Alexi.
So he was pretty unbeatable, no matter the partner. Of course, he always had really, really good partners. And you know, Liddy was second in Engadine. I don't know whether you followed that. And it was a really close race where, you know, they basically got passed in the final swim by Anna Scarbrat and Elin Vigma. And in Allland, Liddy was racing with Ulika. And when they saw Clara and Teresa. Or here. Yeah, yeah. Sorry. Someone called here. And when they saw that Clara and Teresa were getting closer behind them, Liddy was like, Ulika, no more Engadine experience for me. I just want to win this. And she was just like, no holding back. And Ulika was like, wow, it's fine. It's fine. It's fine.
But you need to swim behind me. Don't swim on top of me. I get a lot of swimming like this. You're coming up over the top, guys. Yeah. So Liddy and Tongue together. Wow. I mean, that's going to be a really impressive team. And then, I mean, in force. I mean, it's crazy that you list these in force. We have Christine Larsson and Alex Bernke. Probably, you know. That's crazy. Sorry that I only listed them in fourth place. But, you know, it's probably one of two of the most successful championships between them two. Yes. And they're in force. Dominic. Yeah. And they're in force. So, and the only reason I put them in force was that, you know, Alex, you know, obviously, has done one water race. And if you saw our videos of him last week, then he is. He had, he needs some time to recover. I'm not sure. I'm not sure. I'm not sure. But then, you know, Suzy Morden was racing with Frederick Axigard in all and. And it was really strong, especially on the final stretch.
So, never count them out. They came second and all and there's a really tough race. And we have the Exxons from the US who won in casco. Who came to all and I think it was a bit much doing two races on consecutive weekends, you know, with a six hour time difference in between. I think. You know, they didn't perform as well as they had hoped for, but, you know, two races in two weekends is probably a little bit much. And then, you know, we have the French. I mean, you know, there is a strong strong athlete with Pauline Storchand. Super strong. We have a German team, Catalina Heining was doing super well with Ben Tismeyer, also in Holland. I mean, they're all, if they have a good day, I mean, they don't forget that it's a long, long, long race. A lot can happen. And it also depends on what kind of a day you're getting. So, let's see. I mean, in the mixed. Very cool. So, you know, really, really exciting to see who's going to be on the podium on that one.
For sure. Awesome. Last, not least, the boys. Where will the load time go? Where do we? Where are we on your list, Tom? Well, yeah, thank you for not putting on us on the team, the watch list. Team's the watch list. Yeah, that was a thing that you jinxed at Orca with that post. But yeah, interesting thing about boys, there are six teams that have in their team name boys. So, you know, I don't know, we need to take some credit for this, but I love seeing that. Some, we have some credit. When a bunch of other teams have boys with a Z. So, that's always a good sign, I think. That's really good. I didn't actually notice, but really, really good. You know, you must have been spotted then. So, we try. We try. Spire at the bottom. So, looking at the men's, we have to, of course, start with Adrian Young and Hugo Tommento. I mean, Adrian, I keep introducing him at every race. And then the guy is somehow ageless. It's crazy because we've introduced him 10 years ago. And we're still introducing him. And he's racing and he's, you know, he's always at the top.
I mean, he barely misses a podium. So, it's really, really incredible what kind of an athlete he is. They race together in Hugo, obviously. I mean, we don't have to mention much about Hugo. I mean, we know what his capabilities are in the World Championship. They came second last year. But I think there was a little bit of, you know, Adrian probably hadn't recovered fully from one water race. But it made for a fun race to watch. Adrian raised this year on Uttar with Alexi and one. He raised in Gothenburg with Hugo and one and he raised in Ireland with Christine and one. So, you know, they are, you know, obviously, probably the favorites on paper. But then, you know, the cable bleak is back. Not with your home, but the two loose track brothers will be racing together. And they are a very, very good team. They are now in Pierre, the loose track.
They race together on Holland and put up a really, really good fight. Came second in the end. So, they are very, very high on my list. And you know, they are ambitious for these kind of events. They, yeah. In a good way, they want to win and they're making a huge effort and they come prepared. And it's always fun to watch them race. So, they are high on my list. But then, you know, names like Remi Andrade and David Pesquet for a team. Probably the fastest runner Remi Andrade that we have. If you take a marathon time. So, in David Pesquet, he was injured for a long time this year. But he came back in Gothenburg and raised with Florian Sheffer and had a really, really good day. So, he's obviously recovered well. So, we'll see what we can expect from them. And then, I mean, Mathieu and Goyom Pula.
You know, Mathieu from a watch. He was also injured. He had his knee last year in Holland and came back and out. It was super strong. So, we will see what they can do. And then the Amérique Geneson and Remi Minute were always strong. Wherever they race this year. I mean, Amérique is probably the fastest swimmer that we have in the series. I mean, every one of those long swims at the beginning of the race, you know, he comes out first. So, it is a lot of swimming in the wild champs. Also a lot of running. But I mean, that's a strong team. Daniel Adams-Rae is racing with Daniel Hanson that we've talked about earlier. Daniel said, well, Adams-Rae said he's in super shape at the moment. And was really, really keen to race. And Daniel Hanson is a legend anyway. And never, never, never count him out. If they have a good day together, that could be a podium. So, one, two, three, four, five, six.
Obviously, very heavy on French. French heavy there. Yeah. French heavy. I mean, we've had an all French podium in Holland. French at the strongest athletes right now. And for sure, there's no doubt about that. You know, Adriel being the outlier of the... That he's an Australian. Yeah. But, yeah, I mean, they, it's going to be really cool to see. And also the tactics wise. Because, you know, on that longer course, you know, typically the attack comes on on you. But, who knows? We'll see. We'll watch it. And a lot of experience as well, not just in the men's category, but, you know, we're talking people that have done this race four, five, six times, put on the podium just as many times as well. So, you know, they certainly know the course. They're, you know, somewhat local there. So, I mean, I think this is when it all comes to show on the, on the main event, if you will, for the, for the season.
So, I mean, in every category, it's shaping up to be quite an excellent chase for the podium. Yeah, we'll have to see what conditions are like that can make a difference. Obviously, you know, remember a few years ago when we had the heavy rain in the morning, that can cost you a lot of energy early in the race. And changes the dynamics a little bit. But, I'm hoping for really good conditions. And then it'll be a really, really cool fight between all these top athletes. Who know to the limit have your own. If you have your magic wand, you're putting 70 degrees in the air, you know, 60 in the water or whatever the Celsius conversion is on that. But what are you predicting for this yard? You say a little bit maybe colder, but, you know, we're still at the time of airing. We're about, you know, five, four or five days out from the race. So, we'll know more when this airs. But what are you saying now? Well, my hope is always that we're getting relatively calm conditions at, you know, between 15, you know, 15 in the water and somewhere near that in the air would be, I think is pretty much perfect.
15 and 17 shouldn't be much warmer than that. I mean, for racing, that's idea. But, you know, with the currents, you never know. I mean, it can always change at the last minute. We've seen it in all the temperatures drop by five degrees because there was a storm two to three days before the race. And then they went back up five degrees. So, it's part of the game. It's an outdoor event. It is part of the game. It is an outdoor event. It's part of the game. And honestly, I mean, we've mentioned this on the show before where, you know, the course, this amazing course, this historic course is the main character and the weather can change, the conditions can change. And it's, you know, and everyone who's racing and gets to, you know, it's basically has like a bit partedness. But it's really the course is what dictates speed, distance, strategy, this case, a lot of stuff, which is one of the reasons this race is so interesting.
Because, you know, every storm runs different for sure. But the world champs, like it's so well-treaded, world-treated, everyone knows exactly the names of all the islands, you know, exactly what they're going to do. But it's only when you get there on race day, you know, is the seas going to be calm like last year, the conditions were so mild, there was like no current, like the pig swim. We're people calling it the piglet swim. It was just, it was, it was, it was, it was, it was, it was, it was like pool swimming. It was, it was, it was a joke. We've never seen it last year. I know, you know, someone was, someone, when we were on the pigs with me in the boat stuff on a night and someone came past us with a boat and said, you, you shouldn't be so close to the swimmer's because we're making waves for them. Are you kidding? Yeah, you are. In years past is like, oh, yeah, so we had to pull the safety boats because they were getting seasick. But you guys go ahead just you guys, you got to fight.
No, no, and this course as beautiful as it is, it is so brutal and long and tough. I mean, that's what you must never forget that is, you know, you get all the beautiful images and over the years, the top teams got faster, et cetera. But it is just a brutal one day race, which is why it's the one where at the end of the day you call yourself a world champion. And it's really well deserved. There's nothing like it. Yeah, wait. Yeah. Well, well said, I don't have to worry about it. You just look like, yeah, really, you're making us, now you're making us nervous. I call on myself. I say my nerves. Yeah, hold on. Yeah, it's good. Oh, yeah, I mean, the excitement and the nerves are building, but ultimately, you know, once you hit that water on that first swim, hey, you're into it and you have seven to 14 hours ahead of you and give it your all sort of thing.
Just moving. And you get that. Yeah, for sure. So we are super excited to be going again. It's crazy to believe that this is the fourth time in five years that we're going to sweet it. When previously, you know, it was it was like, yeah, we want to go there at some point and check it out. But, yeah, it's it's, thank you so much for coming on Dominic. We're looking forward to seeing you and hanging out. Yeah, one more all in Sweden. This is going to be an amazing year. Thank you for everything that you're doing to help promote the sport and build it up. And yeah, it's going to be epic. No matter the conditions is going to be epic. So I look forward to seeing you in person again. And yeah, thank you so much for coming on. Yeah, thank you very much. It's never me. It's a lot of people around us. We have a huge team. And mostly it's it's all of you. You know, it's the community that makes it. We just have to organize the events. And that's our job. But really the spirit is driven by the people who do it.
And that's what makes everything so special at these events. So can't wait to see you guys. See you out on Saturday and many others, I hope. And yeah, let's celebrate first. It's a bit odd. We celebrate first and then we have the tough race. And then we celebrate again. We'll celebrate again. For sure. Awesome. We'll see you in Stockholm. That's it for this week's episode.
