Cosplay is NOT the Full Time Answer

About this episode

Hosted by: Scotty B

In this honest and thought-provoking episode, Scotty B breaks the illusion that cosplay must become a full-time career to be meaningful. With the rise of influencer culture and social media metrics as markers of success, many creators find themselves lost in the chase for relevance, reach, and recognition—often at the cost of their mental health and original passion.

Not to say that you can't be a full time coplayer!  Our Co-Host does this full time and she's having an amazing time, but she is a pioneer and paving the way for other Cosplayers to also take up this vocation, but it is not easy.  You really have to go after it and show up every day with passion for what you do.  If you make it your "why", then yes. Yes you can.  But don't think you have to just because you Cosplay.
