This week on Adventures of Des and Cort, our hot flashes have a very specific personality trait. Do not touch us when we are overwhelmed. Hands to yourself. Please and thank you. 🔥🙅‍♀️

We talk about how when we are doing too many things at once, our attitudes can absolutely go sideways. Are we aware of it? Yes. Are we always able to stop it? Absolutely not. Oops.

Then we get into insurance. We know we need it. But do we? We pay for it. Why does everything cost so much and why does it increase every single year without asking us first? Rude.

Cort shares a video about speed reading where they claim you must quiet the voice in your head that reads along with you to read faster. Excuse us. Who can turn that off? Because that voice has a microphone in our heads and has a lot to say.📖🧠

Des mentions a video that will forever ruin hotel coffee pots for you. Let’s just say they are apparently used to clean very unmentionable items. Which leads us to the terrifying realization that we may have consumed cootie coffee in the past. We are not okay.

We also talk about catching an unexpected glimpse of yourself in a mirror or camera and immediately thinking wow. Woof. Thank goodness our husbands love us.

Des had yet another dentist appointment and managed to not assault anyone this time. She deserves an applause! 👏🦷

Cort admits Instagram influenced her into wanting a new board game called Parlay. She is not a big game person but this one feels vibey and now it lives rent free in her brain and she needs it!
