Her mother’s influence shaped her in more ways than she had ever imagined, eventually leading her to her current endeavors as founder and owner CP’s Mother Lovin Cookies. Her early childhood through adolescence is where she received the hardwiring to “Do all things through God Who strengthens me,” Sitting at the kitchen table watching her mother cook foods that filled the air with amazing aromas was Yolonda’s first experience with great foods. Her first love was developed, which she followed up by enlisting in the Army at the age of 18 as a cook after her mother died at 42 years of age from breast cancer.
