Mr. Rees won the Olivier Award in London, the Tony Award in New York, plus an Emmy nomination for Best Actor, playing Nicholas in The Life and Adventures of Nicholas Nickleby.
Mr. Rees was an Associate Artist of the Royal Shakespeare Company.
