This is a special episode, one I record before his death in 2021. This one is from June 2019. I hope the one thing you take away if you listen is to record the stories of your family that is still living. 

Dillard Wright, Jr. He was one of 13 children born in Stearns, Kentucky. He was a special man that believed you needed a purpose in life if not everyday. He would often ask, what did you accomplish today? He was a miner, but mostly he loved farming and specifically taking care of his cattle. He worked every day tirelessly up until about 2 years before his death. He actually thought he was still working when he died, there was always hay to take in, cattle to feed or fence to mend. I miss him greatly. I could not have asked for a better father-in-law.
