Conquering Your Inner Critic

Dr. Debi Gilmore is the co-owner of The EFT Counseling and Education Center, a mental health clinic specializing in marriage and family therapy. She is a therapist, clinical trainer, author, and public speaker. Dr. Gilmore is a frequent presenter and keynote speaker at professional conferences, and special events for the public including BYU Education Week, and webcasts for the Utah Marriage Commission/Stronger Marriage.org. She is a frequent guest on various podcasts and webcasts on the topics of relationship building, self-worth, and personal well-being.

Her book titled, “Conquering Your Inner Critic” is being released by the publisher this fall, and just in time for Christmas. The book outlines her innovative and powerful method to achieve greater personal resilience and fulfillment in every aspect of one's life.

She achieved her doctorate in Marriage and Family Therapy, and her doctoral dissertation is a relationship education program, Building A Lasting Connection® and the Connection System® communication mat that is now being taught and used by therapists and religious leaders across the world. She and her husband Kirk live in Washington, Utah. They have been married almost 45 years, and together they have 3 children and 9 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild.
