Connor McGovern Re-signs with Bills, Offensive Line Stays Intact

Two sources confirmed the deal to the Associated Press, even though the bills have not announced it yet. The 28-year-old brings six NFL seasons of experience. He joined Buffalo as a free agent three years ago. Last season, he started at left guard, then switched to center this year after a team may left. This move keeps the bills offensive line mostly together. The only unsigned starter is left guard David Edwards. Salary cap limits can make it hard to bring him back. Meanwhile, the team released four players yesterday, including Cornerback, Taren Johnson. Those cuts freed up more than $32 million in payroll. They needed that space before the newly gear starts on Wednesday. Buffalo now heads into free agency with a stable front, but tight finances.
