Congresswoman Honors Fallen Airmen from Alabama

Congresswoman Terry Sewell from Alabama took time on the House floor Tuesday to remember three airmen from her district who died in a refueling claim. Crash in Iraq. They served with the 99th air refueling squadron at Sumter Smith Joint National Guard Base in Birmingham and were among six U.S. service. Members killed. Major John Alex Klinner was 33 years old and held a mechanical engineering degree from Auburn University. Captain Arianna Savino and technical sergeant Ashley Pruitt also perished in the incident. Sewell shared heartfelt remarks to honor their service and sacrifice during her address. The crash has deeply affected their families and communities back home. U.S. Central Command confirmed the accident is under investigation, but stressed it was not caused by hostile or friendly fire. Meanwhile, a GoFundMe campaign started by Klinner's sister-in-law Ames to support his wife Libby and their three young children during this tough time.
