Commanders Sign Deatrich Wise, Shy Tuttle on One-Year Deals

Dietrich Wise and Shai Tuddle. Both players were heading into free agency according to reports from ESPN's Adam Schefter. The financial terms were not disclosed. Wise, a 31-year-old veteran joined the commander's last offseason on a one-year pact were $3,250,000. He saw a limited action with just 51 defensive snaps and four tackles before a quad injury sideline to him in week two. Earlier in his career, Wise spent eight seasons with the New England Patriots after they drafted him in the fourth round back in 2017. He brings solid experience with 3-0-18 tackles and 34 sacks over the years. Meanwhile, Shai Tuddle was claimed off waivers from the Tennessee Titans on December 22nd. He appeared in two games for Washington, logging 25 defensive snaps and four tackles.
