Today you’ll get to know a bit more about Commander Paul Renner. We'll learn about his time growing up as an avid player of baseball and soccer, his time in college, followed by his entry into the Navy as a Surface Warfare Officer. Paul served onboard ship during Desert Storm and returned on July 3rd, in time to celebrate Independence Day with family and friends. Continuing his service as a reserve officer, he attended law school and became an attorney in private practice while also deploying to South America and Afghanistan. Now as a retired Naval officer, Paul serves as Speaker of the House for the State of Florida Legislature. Currently he is a candidate running to become Governor of Florida.
