Cole Rotondo Elected Student Body President

0:00On March 6th, Cole Rotando is the new student body president after winning a runoff election on March 4th, 2026. He beat out Emma Strickland with his running mate, Myron Harris, securing the vice-president's bot. The runoff came after the initial elections on February 24th and 25th. Elections Commissioner Tristan Bonemo made the official announcement. Rotando says his campaign was all about listening to students and he plans to keep that up. He views the win as the easy part, with the real work ahead in meeting student needs every day. Joining them are Ashley Reynolds as treasurer and Kiki Dappelito as Speaker of the Student Senate. This team aims to make the university even better for everyone. They'll be sworn in at the inauguration on March 19th at 5.30 pm in Rutledge Chapel, kicking off a fresh chapter for student.
