Coca-Cola Sells Birmingham Campus, New HQ in Works

0:00Reporting from The Daily News Now, I'm Corey, with the latest in Birmingham. Coca-Cola bottling company United is selling its long-time campus off East Lake Boulevard in Birmingham, Alabama. The company has used the site since 1979 and now plans to move into a new corporate headquarters and sales center in the Kingston neighborhood. The property spans 39 acres, with about 350,000 square feet of office and industrial space. It sits right near Birmingham Shuttlesworth International Airport, making a prime real estate. Real estate brokers from Graham & Company, who are handling the listing, call it a stand-out chance for buyers. They highlight its great location near major roads and the airport, perfect for logistics, industry, or office needs. Meanwhile, construction is underway on the new headquarters off 40th Street North. Coca-Cola United bought the old Stockham Valve site back in 2013 for this purpose. The project represents a $330 million investment.
