So word is, El Camino Riau, baseball coach, Josh Leighenhardt is back on the field. He was put on leave over a month ago because his CPR and first aid certifications weren't showing up in the Red Cross system. That was a whole situation man. But he got the call Tuesday and can return to teaching and coaching starting Wednesday. The investigation isn't even wrapped up yet and he's got to prove he retook those courses, which he says he already did. The community really wrote for him though. People were speaking out of board meetings demanding he come back. That pressure even led to the chairman of the board stepping down. It shows you the power of people showing up for what they believe in. We don't know about the other coaches who were also put on leave if they're getting the same green light. That part is still up in the air. Leighenhardt's grateful for all the support from the players, parents and the community.
