It now has the dubious honor of being the world’s hottest summer on record, according to the latest European Union data. This comes just as the first-ever African climate summit comes to close. Hosted by Kenya and the African Union, the event called for the establishment of a global carbon tax system. Damilola Ogunbiyi is the co-chair of UN Energy and joins the show from the summit in Nairobi.
