But that set it up and put it on the 23 and they took it in with the help of the pass interference penalty call against Erie Barnes who was covering Bob Long on the play.

33:59Jerry Smith taking the sunny Jorgensen pass for six yards in the first score of the afternoon. Charlie Lee and Dean Brown are back in double safety and a high kick. 1:23:20Second down two to go for the Browns. Collins flank to the right. Morrison's a wing back to the left. Nelson's going to throw it. He's running to his right. Now he fires to Gary Collins at it. Is out of bounds on the 20 yard line. There's covered on the play by Brighons who picked him up the pre-safety. And I believe they'll just put it out of bounds to bring up third down into. Nelson now talking to Collins. Tomorrow and rather as they come back to the Huddling. 642 to play. Third quarter. 83 yard pass play from cap to Washington puts the Vikings up on Baltimore. 14 to nothing. Do you think it's possible that the Colts could open the season with two straight losses? 1:24:21Not much of a hole, but he fights down to about the 43. He just overpowered the tackle Frank Bosch. And he is going to be, I believe, a little short of the first down, but they're going to measure to make sure. There is going to be very, very close. And what a decision to make now if they don't make it. Are they going to punt with their triophilical end of the win from 50 yards? They are not making it short by a couple of inches. Four inches and I think they're going to go for it. They are. And Prince sometimes four inches is extremely hard to pick up on that defensive line, moving right in against him. We'll find out in a moment. Browns break the hull. Warfields out to it left in. Barnes tied it right in. Collins a wing back to the right. Fourth down and it's just to go. 1:25:24He just got through a small hole sideways, bitty and imposh on the tackle. First down, the first indication however they're going to bring the sticks in. Sneed as it hockens again. That's four touchdown passes for those two. He jerse down. He paid that one by about three and he picked up five inches on that play. All the umbrellas in the plastic sheets are up. 1:26:24Jerkson is still thrown just 11 times and Nelson just six times, 16 times. An awful lot of plays on the ground this afternoon. Got to be a record low for Jerkson so far. Brown's out the huddle. Second down and six. Warfield's out seven to the left. Collins flanked right. Hmm. Having a discussion on the sidelines, telling the Brown's coaches to stay behind that white line that rims the field. They're probably keeping these coaches off there. The coaches just get wrapped up in the ballgame on both sides. Lombardio while ago was right on the edge of the sidelines. Now he's arguing with the headlines been over there, telling him that he is, you know, within the boundary. Detroit has picked up a touchdown against the New York Giants. Collins flanked right. 1:27:24Nelson to throw. And then Warfield's got it on the 30. 25 gets away from one man. Tricks backing is knocked down on the 24 yard line. Hamburg made the tackle. First down for the Brown's. 15 yard pickup. Down to the 24 yard line. Man, that was a big deep hook that Warfield ran. And he went down about the 20 yard and then he started running back towards the Brown's line of scrimmage and picked it off at about the 31. Came back three or four yards and finally got down to the 24. Warfield now flanking to the left. Milk Morons, Gritz II at left end. Collins at four yards split at right end. First in 10. Bill Nelson looks at the Washington defense. Reaches behind his center Fred Hogan. Gives the ball to Morse and left tackle. Blocked by Johnson down to the 20 to the 17 yard line. Groozel and Owens making the tackle. You know these running backs in addition to picking up yard each gym. The other back is doing the blocking for him. And that plus the line and the plant and codyer was lavish and he's praised for the offensive line last week.
