Cleetus McFarland's Top 5 Finish, O'Reilly Debut

0:00On April 4th, Cletus McFarland just snagged his first top 5 finish ever in a NASCAR sanctioned race, taking fourth in the ARCA Menards e-Series, at Rockingham. Driving the number 30 Red Jones racing Chevrolet, he kept it clean the whole way without a scratch. His buddy George Squirrel Siciliano rolled in 9 for a solid top 10, beating his last result. He qualified seventh and charged up early, passing cars on the outside and holding steady in the top 5, as others hit trouble, like flat tires. Cletus battled restarts, swapped spots with Isaac Kitsmiller, and locked down fourth by the end, staying on the lead lap while Tristan McKee grabbed the win. Cletus was hyped climbing out of the car, shouting about his confidence and how the car hooked up perfect. He gave props to his late mentor Greg Biffle, the NASCAR vet who coached him before that tragic plane crash last December, saying he used every lesson, without messing up.
