Christmas (and Everything Else) is About Love - Advent Part 4 by Larry Swartz
About this episode
According to the 22nd chapter of Matthew, Jesus said the greatest commandment is love. “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself.”
My spirituality continues to be more exacting as I seek to use words to explain, or at least attempt to explain my ever growing understanding of the Infinite. An example...I can no longer use an apostrophe ( ' ) to identify what God is, as in God's Love, etc. This is important to me, for if something possesses something, it can be taken away.
My understanding of the Energy I call God IS these aspects or things....Love...Peace...Joy...etc. Never can be diminished or taken away. So, how do I express these thoughts? "God-Love"...note, no ownership, just another way if identifying a quality or quantity of something that our language asks of us.
