Our world is filled with “Christian browsers”, people who read just enough to pretend or who want to lecture the faithful about how they should behave. Imagine a new PFC showing up at a unit and telling the veterans command how to behave?
Social Media so-called Christians who post thoughtless comments, such as “You cannot be a Christian and hate homosexuals.” Congratulations on your stupidity. What does that even mean? If you do not agree with and endorse sinful behavior you “hate” and hating is a sin?
Hate evil, love good, And establish justice in the gate! Perhaps the LORD God of hosts May be gracious to the remnant of Joseph. Amos 5:15
Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated wickedness; Therefore God, Thy God, has anointed Thee With the oil of joy above Thy fellows. Psalms 45:7
Warrior’s Prayer
Lord, I come before you seeking the strength and skill to overcome my enemies. Grant me I pray, the wisdom to recognize evil, the courage to confront it, and the strength to destroy it. In Jesus name I pray, amen.
