About this episode
The gospel is about Christ as our substitute. In our own merit, we stand condemned before a holy God. But in His love, God provided His Son to take our place. On the cross, Christ bore the punishment we deserved, satisfying God's justice. Through His sacrifice, we are justified, not by our works, but by His righteousness.
