Child's Match Play Sparks House Fire, No Injuries

0:00On March 7th, here's the latest out of Tampa Bay. A child playing with matches started a house fire in North Wiki, Wachie, Florida on Saturday. The blaze displays four people and three pets from their home in the 7400 block of Madrid Road. Firefighters from Hernando County Fire Rescue put out the flames quickly. Crews arrive shortly before 9 a.m. after reports of smoke coming from a bedroom window. They contain the fire fast, keeping it from spreading further through the house. Everyone inside got out safely before help arrived, and luckily no one was hurt. The three pets also escaped without issues. The American Red Cross stepped in right away to help the family find temporary shelter and support.
