Patrick Mahomes healthy, Andy Reed calling plays, everyone figured they'd light up the skies for another Super Bowl push. But things fell flat. Brown got hurt early after a hyped free agency signing, missed tons of time, and when he returned, production was spotty at best. The group just couldn't click, leaving folks scratching their heads on why the passing game stalled. Plenty of chief supporters vented frustration online and on shows, pointing fingers at the talent not meshing, or Mahomes dodging pressure. Last year highlighted receiver woes too, but this offseason overhaul was supposed to fix it all.
