Chevron Corp. is considering investing in European liquefied natural gas import capacity, but needs greater clarity on the bloc's methane rules before making a long-term commitment. The company is interested in building out regasification capacity as part of an expansion of its pipeline-gas business in Europe, which would allow it to deliver imported gas directly into the continent's grid.

Bloomberg Audio Studios Podcasts, Radio, News The Stock Movers Report Your roundup of companies making moves in the stock market, harnessing the power of Bloomberg data. Let's take a look at some of the stocks on the move today. We can do that today with Judy LaGroux. She's a reporter for Bloomberg News. She joins us here in studio. Judy, what are you looking at today? Good morning, Paula. I'm looking at Chevron, ticker at CBX. Shares are rising slightly as much as 1.7%, although the stock now is slightly up about 6.10, about 7.10% of the percent, actually. But what's important here is that the Chevron shares are on track for an all-time high price. In today's trading, and this is coming
after oil prices are surging on the report from the AP that Saudi Arabia may take weeks to reopen a pipeline that's been key to bypassing the straight up hormones during the US-eraan war. Also interesting, Raiders reported that Chevron is considering expanding its global gas portfolio to the Mediterranean and Argentina to meet rising demand amid the crisis in the Middle East as well as demand for data centers as well. So very much tied to the big geopolitical news of the day, next up on your list. Absolutely. So Oracle, ticker O-R-C-L shares are sliding as much as 6.2%, it is on track to have its worst day in about two months. And this is coming after the Wall Street Journal reported on Saturday that co-founder Larry Ellison scrapped his plans to sell up to $7.5 billion worth of his Oracle stock, which are shares that he's held since the 1970s. The Friday filing said that on June 22nd,
Ellison adopted the plan, which would unload as many as 50 million Oracle shares. So interesting just to watch the stock movement based on that news over the weekend. Roblox? Yes, Roblox ticker RB-LX shares are climbing as much as 9% currently trading at about 8.7%. It's on track to have its best day since late June. And this is coming after the company announced on Friday that it is launching a new digital wallet to make it easier for creators to get paid faster. It will also allow off-platform gaming. So that will allow people to go into Chrome, for example, and open Roblox instead of using the app directly. Analysts at Bank of America, Wells Fargo, and Wedbush all raise their price targets for Roblox on this news. So very important day for Roblox. For those of you who do not know, it is a customizable gaming platform where users can create their own games and related content and share that for others to use or purchase.
