Chase Iron Eyes: Reconnecting with Sacred Traditions | Ep 130

About this episode

“We must come together as human beings, as a human family and together we can deliver ourselves from what we've gone through as a human family”. -Chase Iron Eyes

In this episode, Dr Espen is joined by a Native American activist, attorney, politician, and a member of the Oglala Sioux Tribe, Chase Iron Eyes. Chase shares powerful insights on ceremony, breath, and sacred traditions, showing how these practices help us reconnect to meaning, healing, and purpose. This episode will teach you why so many people feel disconnected today, how humanity is yearning for something sacred, and what it truly means to co-create reality and return to a more aligned, conscious way of living.

About our guest:

Chase Iron Eyes is a Native American activist, attorney, and an enrolled member of the Oglala Lakota and Standing Rock Sioux Tribes. He is a co-director and lead counsel of the Lakota People’s Law Project as well as a co-founder of the Native American news website Last Real Indians. Chase stood on the front lines of the fight against the Dakota Access pipeline (DAPL) where he was targeted by law enforcement and arrested. For his role in documenting a peaceful protest, Iron Eyes faced a possible ten years in federal prison, so he knows first-hand what it’s like to be the subject of a political prosecution. A producer and host of the podcast CUT TO THE CHASE, Iron Eyes has appeared on CNN’s United Shades of America as well as VICE News.
