Character concepts: A Template for Building Player Characters
About this episode
In this Episode of Dragons and Dice Emmy and I each make a couple of D & D character concepts and give you a templet for how you can do the same if you are stumped on what you want to be in your next Dungeons and Dragons game.
Character Creation Template
1)What Is this characters Job (like Pesto is a Chef)
2) Class and Species
3) Background that works with their job and how they got to your table
4) Some sort of flaw
5) What their general out look on life is(alignment)
6) Something that is unique about them
7) What their goal or driving force is (Like a lost brother)
8) What kind of Flavor can you add to the abilities and spells the PC has that ties in with everything above
9) Decide if you care about being optimal in combat or if you want your stat points to reflect the flavor up to this point.
