Story Transcript:

Ja: 夏の日差しが東京駅に差し込んでいた。
En: The summer sun shone down on Tokyo Station.

Ja: 駅は人で溢れ、賑やかだった。
En: The station was bustling with people, lively and crowded.

Ja: ホームにはたくさんの人が電車を待っていた。
En: On the platform, many people were waiting for their trains.

Ja: お盆の季節で、駅には提灯や飾りが並んでいた。
En: It was the Obon season, and the station was adorned with lanterns and decorations.

Ja: それはとても華やかで、日本の伝統を感じさせた。
En: It was brilliantly festive, evoking a sense of Japanese tradition.

Ja: その中に、二人の青年がいた。
En: Among the crowd, there were two young people.

Ja: 一人は会社員の広瀬宏、もう一人は大学生の山本絵美子だった。
