Centurion's $300M Towers: Adelaide's New Hub

A Singaporean developer called Centurion is set to transform a prime Adelaide site with three new towers worth $300 million. The project sits at 200 North Terrace, the old John Martin's warehouse spot stretching from North Terrace right to Rundle Mall. One tower will rise up to 30 stories for student housing, while the other two makes homes, shops, and eateries on the ground floor. They plan to keep and weave and a key heritage building from 1867, complete with its protected sandstone front. The heritage spot was once a warehouse for the famous John Martin's department store, which shut down in 1998. It's now empty, designed by top colonial architects back in the day. Centurion's leaders call the site a smart bit, thanks to its links to universities and shopping areas, plus South Australia's steady business climate. They already run student digs nearby.
