About this episode
16-year-old Cathy Moulton disappeared on September 24, 1971 from Portland, Maine. She was last seen visiting with some friends at a music store. She had plans to attend a dance that night but didn't make it home for dinner with her family. As is true with many disappearance cases from that time period, the police told Cathy's family that she had likely runaway but would return.
Join Mike and Gibby as they discuss the disappearance of Cathy Moulton. In the first few days, it was entirely on her family to look for Cathy and get the word out about her disappearance. Witnesses eventually came forward about sightings of Cathy. These sightings involved two young men named Lester Everett and Ronald Perley. There remains to this day many theories about what happened to Cathy, and, what role Lester and Ronald may have had in her disappearance.
