Are you feeling cozy and sleepy? Well, I have the perfect story for you today. It's all about catnaps. Yep, we're going to read a story about two sleepy little friends. Are you ready to meet them? They're two of the silliest, sleepiest kitties you'll ever see. Okay, first things first, let's meet our sleepy cats.

2:01Oh, look, here's our first kitty. His name is Top Cat. And wow, is he sleepy? Can you see where he's sleeping? He's all curled up inside a little red cap. Isn't that a funny, cozy spot for a nap? And here's his best friend. This is Kit Cat. Look at that big, happy smile. He's found a great, big, floppy sun hat to take a nap in. He looks so comfy and happy in there, doesn't he? You know, these two silly cats find the funniest places to sleep. Hmm, where do you think they'll go for a nap next? Let's turn the page and see. Whoa, look at that. Do you see that big, tall, blue hat? It looks like a magician's hat. And guess who's inside? It's Top Cat. He climbed right inside for a nap. How silly. He looks just like a magic kitty popping out of a hat. Oh, now they're napping together on the floor. Look, Kit Cat is all stretched out on that soft purple mat. And Top Cat is snoozing on that lovely, stripey rug.

3:03I think they just love to be close to each other when they sleep. Oh, my goodness. Look how cozy. It looks like they found a bedroom. Kit Cat is taking a little nap in the cot. And Top Cat, well, he jumped right up on the big bed, right on top of all those soft, colorful pillows. They both look so warm and snugly, don't they? My, oh, my, they have napped in so many funny places in a cat, in a hat, on a rug. Where in the world do you think these two sleepy cats will find a nap next? Do you have a guess? But wait a minute. Shh. Do you hear that? I think I hear a noise. Oh, dear. I think someone is about to wake them up. Let's listen carefully. I hear a little pad, pad, pad, and a wag, wag, wag. And then a little yap, yap, yap. Oh, my goodness. Who do you think is making all that noise? It's a dog. Look at the cat's faces.

4:03They're so surprised. I think the little dog just wants to play. But oh, no, he woke them from their nap. And look at them go. They're scurrying down the stairs so, so fast. Go Top Cat. Go Kit Cat. Whew. That was a little exciting, wasn't it? But don't you worry. They're just looking for a new spot, a quiet spot, where they can finish their very, very important nap. Let's see where they go. And look, they found the perfect place. They climbed all the way up to the top of this big orange van. It's so sunny and warm up there. And best of all, they're safe from that playful little dog. Now, now they can finally have a nice, quiet nap. And so our two sleepy friends are all snuggled up together, having a peaceful nap in the warm sunshine. Good night, Top Cat. Good night, Kit Cat. Shh.
