Cary Elwes Mourns Rob Reiner on Birthday

The actor from the Princess Bride shared an old photo of them together on Instagram last Friday, March 6th. He wrote that it's still hard to believe Reiner is gone, and that he misses him deeply. Rob Reiner and his wife, photographer Michaela Singer Reiner, were found dead in their Brittenwood California home back in December 2025. The couple had multiple stab wounds. They were 78 and 70 years old at the time. Their son, Nick Reiner, faces two counts of first-degree murder charges with special circumstances. He has pleaded not guilty and remains in custody with Al Bond as he awaits trial. Elwis first connected with Reiner at age 24 during filming of The Princess Bride.
