The Washington capitals have resigned forward Ethan Frank to a two-year contract extension worth $4 million. It carries an average annual value of $2 million. General manager Chris Patrick shared the news on the morning of March 4th. Frank, a 28-year-old from Colorado, has tallied 30 points with 15 goals and 15 assists over 76 career games with a team. He's currently 8th in goals on the roster and 5th in goals per 60 minutes at 5 on 5. Fans and analysts see this as a smart move to keep a reliable bottom-six player. Frank joined the capitals as a free agent back in March 2023 after going undrafted out of Western Michigan University.
