In exchange, they got a second round pick in the 2027 NHL draft and a fourth round pick in the 2029 draft. The 36-year-old has been solid this season with 8 points and 57 games. Myers is averaging over 20 minutes of ice time per game for Vancouver. In the second year of a three-year deal, worth $9 million. The Canucks are retaining half his salary, which helps Dallas add depth without a big cap hit. Stars General Manager Jim Nill praised Myers for his right side play and flexibility on defense. He said it bolsters their blue line right away. Meanwhile, Canucks GM Patrick Alvin thanked Myers for his leadership and community work, noting the picks aid their rebuild.
