Role of Terpenes in Nature

-Terpenes assist with plant survival, reproduction (attracting pollinators), and deterring predators.

      -terpenes contribute to the scent, flavor, and colors of various plants/fruits.

Various Terpenes and Their Characteristics

      - Myrcene: Earthy aroma; found in mangoes; potential relaxing effects.

      - Limonene: Citrus scent; potential mood-enhancer and stress-reliever.

      - Pinene: Pine aroma; may have anti-inflammatory properties.

      - Linalool: Floral scent; found in lavender; potential anxiety and stress relief properties.

      - Beta-caryophyllene: Spicy, woody scent; may help alleviate discomfort.
