Canceled Too Soon #60 - Danger Theatre (1993)

Why make just one parody of a crime show when you can make THREE of them? That's the premise of DANGER THEATRE, a comedic anthology series from the director of WAYNE'S WORLD that ran on the Fox network for only seven episodes, and starred Diedrich Bader as the motorcycle-riding do-gooder THE SEARCHER, Adam West as the leader of Hawaii's TROPICAL PUNCH division, and Todd Field and Ricky Harris as hip tinseltown detectives in 357 MARINA DEL REY.

Three comedy crime shows, narrated by Robert Vaughn, that tried to take a bite out of the butt of crime. But was DANGER THEATRE... canceled too soon? Film critics William Bibbiani and Witney Seibold examine all three of these fake shows to determine which were hits, which were duds, and why Diedrich Bader is just so darned wonderful.
