They moved to Kingsville, Texas, back in 2021, when Tanya married her American husband, Edward. In March 14th, they got stopped at a checkpoint heading home from a baby shower and never made it back. Ice took them in for fingerprints and held them. The family insists all paperwork is legit, including Tanya's work authorization, good till June 8th, 2030. Aela has autism and conditions were brutal. No beds at first, lights blazing around the clock, agents pushing hard for self deportation. Tanya called the treatment horrific, with constant threats and no privacy, saying it left a bad taste despite her life being tied here with her.
