They wanted us to become even more reliant on them, not less. In too many areas, they wanted dependency, not a true economic partnership. Now President Trump threatening Canadian jetmaker Bumbardi A. the private company says its supply chain includes about 2800 U.S. companies in 47 states. Meanwhile, Carney says Canada will move faster from U.S. reliance. We have everything we need to pivot and prosper. That pivot will come at a cost. There's always a cost to action. Canada is the second largest U.S. trading partner after Mexico, and crude imports equal nearly 20 percent of U.S. petroleum consumption. I'm Julie Walker.
